You’ve heard it before, and it’s still true: God loves you soo very much and there’s NOTHING you can do to make Him love you more or less than He does right now.

That love is not distant or abstract. It’s personal. It meets you exactly where you are—whether your faith feels strong, fragile, or somewhere in between. It’s NOT a religion, it’s meant to transform us and guide us on how we live, decide, and show up every day.

Allowing Your Faith to Guide Your Life

“Faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” ~ Hebrews 11:1

Faith begins with believing. But living it out—day after day—is something else entirely.

Many people think of faith as a noun. At BE, we see faith as a verb. A lived experience. A daily choice. A way of life that influences how we raise our children, how we spend our money, what we consume, how we treat others, and how we show up at work and in the world.

At its core, being a Christian means:

  • Believing that God, the Creator of the universe, loves you deeply.

  • Believing that Jesus is God’s Son, who came in the flesh, died on the cross for our sins, and made a relationship with God possible.

  • Choosing to live according to Scripture and seeking God’s will and direction for your life.

  • Trusting God’s provision, comfort, protection, leadership, and wisdom in all things.

Living our faith is a journey with ups and downs. Sometimes, without even realizing it, we drift, our passion for God fades and our faith starts to feel more like a routine than a relationship.

If you’re feeling distant from God, disconnected, or realizing that your Christian walk has become more habit than heart, it may be time for a rededication.

No matter what brought you here, one thing is true: God is always ready to welcome you (back) with open arms! It’s never too late and He is never far away.

When we turn to God, He forgives us, restores us, and leads us into a deeper relationship with Him.

This isn’t about perfection. It’s about intention; choosing to pursue God in every area of your life and reconnecting with the One who brings peace, joy, and purpose.

If you’re ready for a fresh encounter with God and want to (re)ignite your faith, you can pray something like this:

“God, I know You love me, even though I’ve been distant. I come to you today as a sinner aware of my need for a Saviour. I repent of my sins, ask for your forgiveness and surrender my life to You (again). I believe Jesus is your son and the Saviour of the World. I believe He died and rose again to give me life, peace, victory, joy and hope. Lord Jesus, today I (re)dedicate my life to You. I want to follow You, live according to Your Word, and have a deeper relationship with You. This is my new beginning!”

Now what?

(Re)dedicating your life to God is a lifelong journey; one where He transform you from the inside out, bit by bit.

Just like any relationship, faith grows when you invest time and intention:

  1. Spend time in God’s Word. Daily devotionals and Bible-reading plans such as those available through the Bible Gateway app are helpful tools.

  2. Talk to God. Prayer doesn’t need to be formal or polished – just honest! Use your own words; speak with Him anywhere, any time.

  3. Connect with other believers. Whether in person or online, life wasn’t meant to be lived alone.
